"According To Jesus, What Is Gospel Greatness" Is Sunday's Topic At Lookout Mountain Presbyterian

The theme for Sunday's messages at Lookout Mountain Presbyterian Church, 310 North Bragg, will be "According to Jesus, What Is Gospel Greatness," with text from  Matthew 23:1-12. The sanctuary services at 8:10,9:30 and 11 a.m. will be led by David Arthur and Len Teague will lead services in the fellowship hall at 9:30 and 11.


Joint Ash Wednesday Service

Washington Hills United Methodist Church will host this year's joint Ash Wednesday service with Rev. Dr. Elston McLain preaching and his Stanley Memorial choir providing the music.     There will be a light repast following the service.  The service begins at 6 p.m. Wednesday at 6216 Hadley Dr.   All are invited and welcome. Greenholtz Collects $71,641 For Criminal Court Judge Campaign; Little Has $22,850; Patterson $20,134

Judge Tom Greenholtz reported $71,641 received for his campaign to remain as judge of Criminal Court, Division II. He was named by Governor Bill Haslam as the interim replacement for Judge Rebecca Stern, who retired before her term was up. Mike Little had $22,850, and Boyd Patterson received $20,134.
