Chattanooga Is A True Bipartisan Success Story

Tuesday, July 30, 2013

Contrary to the Republican ad touting the accomplishments of the Republican party and their leadership in bringing Amazon and Volkswagen to Tennessee, along with the economic success that Tennessee has enjoyed in the last 10 years, it has in reality been a true bipartisan effort involving our two-term Democratic Governor Phil Bredesen, our director of economic development, Matt Kisber, also a Democrat, along both Democratic and Republican mayors and lawmakers that brought Volkswagen and Amazon here and have made our state and city a success...not Republican leadership as they would have you believe.

So yes, I would welcome the President and anyone else to see how things should be done.... in a bipartisan manner..not as the Republicans with their misleading ad would have you believe.

Welcome to Chattanooga, Mr. President, a true bipartisan success story.
