Julian Delane Hawkins, 74, of Bradley County, passed away at his home on Thursday, August 8, 2013.
He was of the Baptist faith. He worked at Burlington Woolens and retired from Westvaco Folding Box. He was a constable for the 1st District for 16 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Pearl Cochran Hawkins; brothers, Gerstil, Wencil, C.L., Kenneth, Marvin, Vernon, and J.B. Hawkins; and sisters, Jessie Marie and Annas Lucille.
He is survived by his children, Ray Hawkins and wife Janice and Rickey Hawkins and wife Sally; grandchildren, Lindsey, Jenny, Chris and Dave; brother, Waymon Hawkins; and sisters, Velma June, Gladys, Margie, Wilma Sue and Ruth Ann.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Saturday, August 10, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverends Paul Fox and David Evans officiating. Interment will be 2 p.m. Sunday, August 11 in Boanerges Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. Saturday, August 10, at the Ralph Buckner Funeral Home who has charge of the arrangements.
