Gentry, Claude "Bobo" (Trion)

Claude "Bobo" Gentry, 74, of Trion, GA, passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at his residence.  

Mr. Gentry was born June 3, 1939 in Subligna, GA.  He had been employed with Dixie Oil Company.   

Mr. Gentry was preceded in death by wife, Delores Maxine Haynes Gentry; father and mother, Virgil and Daisy Walker Gentry; sister, Patty Rhinehart; and brothers, Bob Gentry and Bill Gentry.     

Mr. Gentry is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Claude Daniel and Inga Gentry of Trion, GA, Timothy Wayne and Rhonda Gentry of Summerville, GA and Clifford Brian Gentry of Trion, GA; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Julia Howell and Doris Bryan of Trion, GA and Edna Williams and Janie Reed of Summerville, GA; and several nieces and nephews.    

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, August 17, at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of the Erwin-Petitt Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Patterson officiating.  Interment will follow in West Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Grant Gentry, Corey Gentry, Aaron Gentry, Scott Moore, Chris Jenkins, and Michael Mincey.  These gentlemen are asked to assemble at the funeral home on Saturday, August 17 at 1:30 p.m.   

Visitation for Mr. Claude "Bobo" Gentry will be Friday, August 16, from 6-8 p.m. at the Erwin-Petitt Funeral Home who has charge of the arrangements.
