Lynn Allen Rhea, 82, lifelong resident of Red Bank, died on Saturday, August 17, 2013.  

He was a lifetime member of Red Bank Baptist Church.  Lynn retired after 41 years with Dupont and was an Army veteran of the Korean War. 

Survivors are his wife of 62 years, Carolyn Allison Rhea; daughter,  Linda (Billy) Teague; son, Mitchell A. Rhea; grandchildren, Carol (Chris) Pyke, Daniel (Nikki) Roberts, Stephen (Misty) Roberts and David (Sam) Roberts; nine great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 20, at Red Bank Baptist Church with Bill Harvey and Dr. Fred Steelman officiating.  Interment will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery with full military honors.  

Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 19, at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace and 9:30-10:30 a.m. on Tuesday at Red Bank Baptist Church.  

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Orphanage Emmanuel c/o Red Bank Baptist Church. Special thanks to the staff of Soddy Daisy Healthcare for their excellent care.
