Mattie Belle Rampley, 92, of Summerville, Georgia, died on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at Summitt Nursing Home in Rome, Georgia.
Mrs. Rampley was born October 23, 1920 in Kingston, GA, the daughter of the late George and Allie Biggers McGuire. She was retired from North West Georgia Regional Hospital.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Cheryl L. Thompson; brothers, George McGuire and John McGuire; sisters, Sybil Floyd, Dorothy Adams, Frances Mize, and Mary Ella Brown.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Susan and John Phillips; grandchildren, Glynn Thompson, David Thompson, and Crystal Holland, eight great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A private memorial service will be held for friends and family at a later date.
