McGehee, Alberta M. (Cleveland)

Alberta M. McGehee, 97, of Cleveland, TN, passed away Sunday morning, August 18, 2013, at the family residence. 

She was a long standing member of Waterville Baptist Church where she was the oldest living member. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mike and Oma Boring; her husband, Robert Lofton McGehee; and her daughter, Marie Lea.

She is survived by her children, James McGehee (Frances), Faye Botts and Larry McGehee, all of Cleveland; six grandchildren, Terry Botts, Tony McGehee, Karen Botts, Tina Sonnier, Crystal Tinsley and Mark McGehee; two sisters, Opal Gibson and Inez Robertson, both of Ooltewah; nine great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Tuesday, August 20,in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Alan Lovelace officiating. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 21 in Sunset Memorial Gardens concluding with a white dove release ceremony. 

Her family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, August 20 at the Ralph Buckner Funeral Home who has charge of the arrangements.

Her family request memorials be made to the Waterville Baptist Church Building Fund, 4555 Dalton Pike SE, Cleveland TN 37323.
