Man Shot While Sitting On Front Porch

Robert Birt, 46, was shot multiple times in the legs at approximately 11:10 p.m. Monday at 3612 3rd Ave.   

Mr. Birt was transported to a local hospital for treatment of the non-life-threatening injuries.  

Police said the victim was sitting on the front porch of the residence when the suspect shot him and fled the scene on foot.  

The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when available.
