DivorceCare Series Begins Sept. 8

Parkway Bible Chapel will begin a new fall cycle of DivorceCare on Sunday, Sept. 8, at 6 p.m. in the Chickamauga Room at the Hampton Inn on 6875 Battlefield Parkway in Ringgold.  

The 13 week series, from 6-8 p.m., includes a 30 minute video providing help and advice from divorce recovery experts and testimonials from former DivorceCare participants.  After each video, participants will have the opportunity to join a small discussion group to share (if you desire) and learn from what others are experiencing.  Each group is set in a safe and confidential environment. 

Trained facilitators, people who themselves have experienced the pain of  separation and divorce, will be available to answer any questions.

2 Shot On W. 37th Street Early Monday Morning

Theresa Farris  Greene , 35, and  Corey Thompson, 31, were shot early Monday morning. Chattanooga Police were called at 1:15 a.m. to a person shot on the 1000 block of West 37th St. Upon arrival, police located two victims who were suffering from gunshot wounds. Angela Faye Parker, 50, was arrested early Sunday morning after stabbing another female. Chattanooga Police responded to 2302 Glass Street at 12:15 a.m. to an assault.
