DotMom Conference Planned At Chattanooga Convention Center

A DotMom Conference will be held at the Chattanooga Convention Center Sept. 20-21. The fee will be $69. 

The journey of motherhood is exciting, scary, lovely and challenging, which is why dotMom exists. It's a weekend for moms of all ages that will provide practical parenting tools, connect you with other moms, celebrate motherhood, and draw you closer to Christ through biblical truth, officials said.

The weekend will feature keynote teaching sessions from Christian moms. A broad range of topics will be covered.
Featured guests include Jen Hatmaker, Vicki Courtney and Lauren Chandler.

Antioch Missionary Baptist Celebrates Youth Sunday May 17

Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, located at 901 G.W. Davis Dr., will celebrate Youth Day on Sunday, May 17  at 11 a.m. The guest speaker will be Minister Marcellus Barnes of Mount Canaan Baptist Church. Ganns/Falling Water School Way Over Budget

The final figure for the new Ganns/Falling Water School is way over budget, county officials said Wednesday. However, the County Commission voted to proceed on the $29,414,000 project. Gary Waters of the county schools said his estimate had been $25 million and he was surprised at the amount of the school bid that was awarded to Rentenbach Constructors. He said in lean times ... Hutcherson Says Erlanger Board To Be More Transparent; Dinner Meetings To Be Open

Erlanger Board Finance Chairman Donnie Hutcherson said the board plans to be more transparent. He said Erlanger's legal staff will review topics that might be covered in a closed meeting.
