Signal Mountain Genealogical Society Meeting September 3

The Signal Mountain Genealogical Society will meet at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, September 3, 2013, at the Walden Town Hall, 1836 Taft Highway. 

The meeting will begin with refreshments followed by the business session and program at 1:30 p.m.  T

he guest speaker for the September meeting, Patricia Jobe, will present a program on “Ulysses S. Grant, The Man, Not The Soldier.”    As always, guests are welcome.


Lookout Jr. High Reunion May 2

The Catoosa County Historical Society will meet on Monday at 7 p,m. in the Old Stone Church Museum in Ringgold.  The speaker will be Doug Carson who resides in High Point. Woman Injured, Man Dead After Shooting Outside Collegedale Walmart

One man is dead and a woman injured after a shooting near the Collegedale Walmart on Sunday afternoon. Collegedale Police were dispatched at 2:22 p.m. to reports of a person shot at 5910 Reagan Lane.
