Green, Gollliher Lead Four-Ball Qualifying

LOUDON, Tenn. -- Knoxville's Steve Golliher and Jackson's Danny Green shot 131 Thursday and led the qualifying in the Tennessee Senior Four-Ball Championship at the Tennessee National Golf Club.

The quarterfinals and semifinals will be Friday and the final on Saturday.

In the Super Senior Division Chattanooga's Ronnie Law and partner Larry Denney tied for fifth at 141.

Shorter Wins 4-2 Over Lee

The Shorter University Hawks celebrated homecoming afternoon with a 4-2 victory over the Lee University men's soccer team at the Ben Brady Field on Friday . Boyd Bucs Blank Silverdale, 46-0

Junior E.J. Matthews rushed for 161 and one touchdown and Jeremy Borders scored on a punt return as visiting Boyd Buchanan defeated Silverdale, 46-0,  t o claim the District 5-A football championship Friday night. Chickamauga Lock To Reopen As Soon As Next Thursday
