Dedication Ceremony For Red Bank Middle School Is Wednesday

Hamilton County Schools Superintendent Rick Smith announced the new Red Bank Middle School, located at 3701 Tom Weathers Drive, will hold its formal dedication on Wednesday, at 1 p.m. in the school gymnasium.  Several dignitaries from Hamilton County Government, the City of Red Bank and the Hamilton County Department of Education are expected to be in attendance for the dedication ceremony.

The 160,000-square foot, state-of-the-art construction was a $29.6 million project with a capacity for 756 students.

  The new location allows both Red Bank Middle and Red Bank High to realize improved outdoor athletic facilities.

Lee’s SOR Raises Money For Ugandan Refugee Bible School

Lee University’s School of Religion has finished a fundraising project for a Church of God Bible school in a refugee camp in Uganda. The fundraiser was in honor of Lee’s Centennial year which began this January.  “Lee started as a small Bible school 100 years ago, and now we can help another small Bible school get started,” said Dr. Rickie Moore, associate dean of the SOR. ... Daisy Elementary Evacuated After Bomb Threat

Daisy Elementary School was evacuated on Friday, after a threatening message about a bomb was found on a wall. East Ridge Council Approves Funding For $2.3 Million Camp Jordan Upgrade; Christopher Harris Chosen As Administrative Hearing Officer

The city of East Ridge is continuing to make improvements and upgrades in the city’s appearance and facilities.
