This weekend there are several opportunities to visit one (or more) of Chattanooga Public Markets and events:
Ringgold Market: Saturday, 9 a.m.-12 p.m. The Ringgold Market offers farm fresh produce, meats, cheeses and a small selection of handmade crafts. Located in the heart of downtown Ringgold at the Catoosa County Courthouse, this market has a local feel, free parking and opportunities to meet local farmers. It's the last Saturday for the 2013 season. Live music will be performed at 10 a.m. by guitarist Steve Brehm.
Chattanooga River Market: Saturday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Tennessee Aquarium Plaza. Free yoga on the Riverfront at 10 a.m. Forty plus artists and craftsmen offering one-of-a-kind artistry. Saturday marks the end of the season for the River Market. Live music on Saturday is by Julie Gribble at 12:30 p.m.
Chattanooga Market: Sunday, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. at the First Tennessee Pavilion. Sunday features the annual Hot Rod and Cruise In event where car hobbyists and enthusiasts will enjoy the showing of hot rods, classics, antiques and more. Live music is provided on the EPB stage with Amber Fults at 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. with Rick Rushing and the Blue Strangers. It's time for athletes and market supporters to sign up for the 8k Harvest Run which benefits the Chattanooga Market. There will also be a 2 mile walk/run, and strollers are allowed. Folks can enjoy the Harvest Festival afterwards, also held that day at the Market.
