Olivia Berger was all over the court for the GPS volleyball team Tuesday night.
She had 24 kills from the front row and another 10 from the back as the Bruisers improved to 4-6 with a 3-1 non-district win over Hixson at GPS.
It was a close match from the first serve to the last with the Bruisers winning the first two sets by scores of 25-23 and 30-28. The Wildkittens rallied for a 25-19 win in set three before the Bruisers closed the match with a 25-17 win in the decisive fourth set.
While Berger topped everyone with her 34 kills, she also was credited with 21 digs, five blocks, two aces and an assist.
Caroline Vance chipped in with 17 digs while Kelby Crownover had 15.
Jenna Simpson had a match-high 31 assists to go along with five digs, four kills and one ace.
Gabby Hughes also played well with 25 assists, eight digs and a kill.
The Bruisers will be at home again on Wednesday when they host a three-way meet involving Red Bank and Soddy Daisy.
