Hixson claimed a 2-1 victory over East Ridge, Thursday night.

The Lady Wildcats were up 1-0 at half. They were led by Samantha Green with 2 goals. Demi Defoor had an assist and Cambree Spurlack recorded eight saves.

Abby Sweatman scored the lone goal for East Ridge off an assist from Kayla Deck.

Hixson will host Ooltewah next Tuesday, September 3rd. at 7pm.



Covenant Women Fall In Overtime To Birmingham Southern

The Covenant women's basketball team rallied from a fourth quarter deficit to force overtime, but visiting Birmingham Southern took over in the extra period for a 70-60 victory over the Scots on Saturday evening inside Barnes PE Center.
