DJ Jones had four first-half touchdowns to lead the Cleveland Blue Raiders past Cookeville, 36-17, on Friday night.
Jones' heroics included a 95-yard kickoff return.
Cleveland was up 21-3 at the quarter and had a 34-10 edge at the half. The final score of the first half came after senior Michael Huff intercepted a Cavalier hail Mary try and ran it back 90 yards as time expired.
Cleveland managed only a safety in the final half. Cookeville scored on a late drive.
Jones had almost 300 yards for the night.
Austin Herink passed for 196 yards.
Cleveland moves to 1-1 after an opening loss to McCallie.
