It is the third individual title in Eaves' career at Covenant. Beth Burgess placed second with a time of 13:44.07. Eaves and Burgess also finished one and two last year.
Esther Anderson (13:57.88) and freshman Anna Hankal (14:15.35) finished third and fifth, respectively, as the Lady Scots nearly pulled off a perfect score with 17 total points. Maryville's Emily Guillaume placed fourth.
Freshman Grace Bodron finished sixth with a time of 14:23.23, Ruthie Cargill was eighth at 14:32.22 and Natalie Barkmann wound up ninth at 15:17.87.
On the men's side, Stephen Dillon paced the Scots with a second place finish after a 5k time of 18:57.98 that bested his time by more than 30 seconds in last year's event. Freshman Justin Jantomaso and senior Matt Gorter finished neck-and-neck with Jantomaso claiming third with a time of 19:12.21 and Gorter right behind at 19:12.82.
