Retired From Tennessee American Water Company After 35 Years

Henry Clay Collins, Jr., 88, of Chattanooga, died on August 4, 2013. 

He was born Aug. 6, 1924, in Bradley County, to the late Henry Clay Collins, Sr. and Daisy Marie Selvidge Collins. 

Mr. Collins was preceded in death by his wife Anna Bell Collins.  

He was retired from Tennessee American Water Company after 35 years of service. He was passionate about coon hunting and hunted as long as he was able. He was a member of the East Brainerd Coons Hunting Club.

Survivors include sons, Ron Collins, Dennis Collins, Steve (Patty) Collins and Jerry (Allene) Collins; sisters, Jessie Igou, Jane Phillips, and Frances Quarles; eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 7, at the Ooltewah Cemetery with Reverend Dale Lovelady officiating.
