Hamill Road between Adams Road and Greenway Farms will be closed to all traffic for the rest of this week while road repairs continue.
School buses and residents residing in the work zone only will be allowed to get to their destination. Car riders normally using Hamill Road are advised to use the alternate routes to Big Ridge Elementary. Due to changes in traffic patterns, car riders should expect increased traffic volumes and delays along the alternate routes. Detours are posted using Cassandra Smith Road, Hixson Pike and Northpoint Boulevard. Drivers are advised to leave in plenty of time and use the alternate routes.
