Governor Bill Haslam will be the guest speaker at the Chattanooga Convention & Visitors Bureau annual meeting and luncheon at 11:30 a.m. on Aug. 16, at the Chattanooga Convention Center.

A sold-out record crowd of 1,000 guests will be attending this year’s luncheon including local and state tourism executives, top business leaders and political figures. 

Bob Doak, Chattanooga Convention & Visitors Bureau president and CEO, will deliver the state of the tourism industry address, announce the newly elected annual board members and recognize local ambassadors. Guests will once again be entertained by the much anticipated and hilarious “spoof/parody” video.

Westin Awarded The Only AAA Four Diamond Rating In Chattanooga

25 Members Of Chattanooga Police Department Receive Damages In Settlement

25 veteran members of the Chattanooga Police Department on Friday received damages totaling $779,549.50 from the City of Chattanooga.  These officers were awarded nearly $500,000 following a jury verdict in their favor in August, 2017.  In April, the City Council voted to approve this final settlement.  As a result, the city will dismiss their appeal. ... 2 People Injured In Motorcycle Accident On Highway 58

Two people were injured in a motorcycle accident on Highway 58 on Saturday. The two were thrown from the motorcycle when they collided with a Jeep that had stopped unexpectedly.
