Caswell Finishes 2-2 at Girls 18s Tennis Nationals

SAN DIEGO - Baylor School senior Samantha Caswell finished 2-2 in singles and 2-1 in doubles here at the USTA Girls 18s Hard Court Nationals.

Caswell won two matches in the main draw in both singles and doubles, earlier this week teaming with Sofia Kurtz of Atlanta in doubles.

Caswell-Kurtz defeated Alex Harrigan and Riley Morgan, 6-3, 7-5, and Valerie Shklover and Joanna Zalewski, 4-6, 6-2, 1-0 (5)  to advance to the round of 32.

The Southeast duo lost to the No.4 California team of Zoe Katz (Long Beach) and Maegan Manasse (Redondo Beach), 6-3, 6-2.
