Johnathon Earl Messer, 21, of Cleveland, TN, passed away Monday, August 5, 2013.
Johnathon was a 2010 graduate of Bradley Central High School and was currently a student at Lee University studying Psychology. He was employed with Check into Cash and was of the Church of God faith. He loved God and watching wrestling.
Survivors include his father, Johnny Messer of Cleveland; his mother, Georgia Hindman of Cleveland; two brothers, Ryan and Josh Messer, both of Cleveland; three sisters, Holly Latham of Englewood, Stephanie Goodine and Carla Moody both of Cleveland; grandmothers, JoAnn Messer of Cleveland and Anna Mae Ross of Cleveland; a special aunt, Nancy Messer of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews.
A Remembrance of Life Service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, August 9 at the Prospect Church of God with Pastor Timothy Gann officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Hill Cemetery with Josh Messer, Ryan Messer, Dennis Goodine, Quanza Smith, Roman Prok, Zeth Messer and Hernando Ramirez serving as casket bearers.
The family will receive friends Thursday, August 8 from 5-8 p.m. at the Wildwood Ave. Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral homes.
