Memphis – “Aloha from Hawaii 40th Anniversary” – Celebrate entertainment history with a special enhanced screening of Elvis’ landmark 1973 television event 7:30 p.m. at The Orpheum Theatre. VIP tickets are $91.50 and general admission is $37.50.
Jonesborough – “From Jonesborough to Africa” – Browse Richie Hayward’s photography ranging from travels to Africa to popular Jonesborough spots with an opening reception 5 p.m. at the Jonesborough Visitor’s Center.

Nashville – American Cornhole Association – Cornhole competitors from across the U.S. will compete for $10,000 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort.

Rugby – Wearable Colors from Nature – Learn how to spin natural fibers on a drop spindle and a spinning wheel, how to choose natural plants and turn them into a vat of color and the steps in preparing yarn for a project 9:30 a.m. at the community building in downtown Rugby.

Nashville – Exhibition Closing – Snag the last chance to see “Stop. Take Notice!” The exhibit is a community art project inspired by Nashville-area teens and explores community issues in the Frist Center for the Visual Arts’ Conte Community Arts Gallery.
Nashville – Huey Lewis & the News – One of the biggest 1980s bands will perform their hits including “I Want a New Drug,” “If This Is It,” “The Heart of Rock & Roll” and more 7:30 p.m. at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center.
