Driver Cited In Bonny Oaks Drive School Bus Wreck

David Kimbro, 62, the driver of a school bus involved in an accident on Bonny Oaks Drive on Tuesday, has been cited for following too close.

A total of 11 children were transported to the hospital for minor injuries from the crash involving the school bus.    

Chattanooga Police responded at approximately 8:37 a.m. to a traffic crash in the 6500 block of Bonny Oaks Drive where a school bus rear-ended a Ryder truck.  

The driver of the school bus said that he was monitoring a disturbance on the bus when he struck the rear of the truck that was stopped at a red light.  

No other charges will be filed.


Rape Charge Dismissed Against Man Who Allegedly Posed As Marine

Rape and assault charges have been dismissed in Criminal Court against a Chattanooga man allegedly posing as a U.S. Marine last September. The dismissal was in the case of 27-year-old Robert "Bobby" Alan Bradshaw. Agencies dealing with two arrests of Cleveland Police Department officer Jeffrey Griggs in two counties say they are coordinating their efforts to prevent overlap. One of the arrests involved a confrontation with then-Cleveland Police Chief Dennis Maddux, who was in a police car with the wife of Officer Griggs. Maddux was afterward demoted to captain. ...
