Driver Licenses To Have Have New Special Veteran Designation

Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security Commissioner Bill Gibbons and Tennessee Department of Veterans Affairs Commissioner Many-Bears Grinder will hold a press conference Thursday to announce the issuance of Tennessee driver licenses and photo identification cards with special veteran designation.  

The commissioners will explain the requirements and benefits of the veteran designation driver licenses and photo ID cards. Examples of the cards will be available.

The announcement will be made at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Nashville and in case of rain it will be held at at the Old Supreme Court Chambers at the Tennessee State Capitol.
