Hamilton County Department of Education STARS (Students Taking a Right Stand) announced its upcoming Move2Stand Leadership Training scheduled for next Thursday and Friday. The event will be from 8:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m. at the South Chattanooga Recreation Center on Thursday, and at the STEM School Chattanooga on Friday.
Move2Stand Youth Development Leadership Training is designed to empower high school students to take a stand against anti-social behaviors (like bullying and violence) that have become more prevalent in society.
As students are equipped to become agents of change, the learning environment is strengthened. This training is part of the overarching Olweus Bullying Prevention Initiative provided by STARS.
