Mary Helen Dorlon, 63, of Dalton, GA, died Thursday morning, September 12, 2013 at the local hospital.
Mary was born August 15, 1950 in Sweetwater, TN, a daughter of the late Arlen and Mary Ruth McKee Lynn; and was also preceded in death by her son, Douglas Bryan Bramblett; brother, Roy Lynn; and sister, Shirley Rosenbaum.
She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Jack Edward Dorlon of the residence; daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Jason Holtzclaw of Chatsworth, GA; step-children, Cindy and Jeff Cline of Rocky Face, GA and Jackie Dorlon of Dalton, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Kenneth and Wanda Lynn of Dalton, GA, Earl and Connie Lynn of Riceville, TN, Charles and Ellen Lynn of Cleveland and Robert and Joy Lynn of Charleston, TN; sisters and brothers-in-law, Alice and Thomas Webb of Dalton, GA, Linda and David Hamilton of Tunnel Hill, GA and Faye Lynn of Sweetwater, TN; grandchildren, Kaylee and Lauren Holtzclaw, Jennifer Cline and Brittany Dorlon; special child, Blake Calhoun; and nieces and nephews.
Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Mary Helen Dorlon will be held Sunday, September 15, at 2 p.m. at Cleveland Heights Baptist Church with Reverend Bruce Headrick and Reverend Roy Gross officiating. She will lie in state at the church from 1-2 p.m. She will be laid to rest beside her son at the Dogwood Valley Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5-9 p.m. Saturday, September 14.
