Payne Named Director Of IT Risk And Compliance At BlueCross

Ron Payne has been promoted to director of IT risk and compliance for BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee. In this role, Mr. Payne is responsible for directing information technology risk and compliance, disaster recovery and business continuity functions at BlueCross.

“Ron’s leadership has been instrumental in developing our business continuity program and infrastructure, which ensures we can continue serving our more than 3 million members,” said Michael Lawley, vice-president of technology shared services.

Mr. Payne has served BlueCross for more than 42 years, holding a variety of technical and management positions, including manager of support systems and manager of business continuity. Throughout his career, he has played a key role in many technology system improvement efforts, including the design of BlueCross’ world-class data center on Cameron Hill.

Mr. Payne studied data processing at McKenzie Business College.

Man Wanted For Ohio Murder Taken Into Custody At Ooltewah Residence

A man wanted for a murder in Ohio has been taken into custody at a residence in Ooltewah. Frank Charles Mosier, 30, was charged Friday with a 2016 slaying during a robbery. Authorities on Sunday afternoon got word that Mosier was at 9133 Pleasant Lane, which is off Ooltewah-Georgetown Road. Pair Arrested In Connection With Lookout Mountain Vehicle Thefts, Break-Ins
