NAACP General Meeting Commemorates Constitution Day Tuesday

Along with millions of Americans, the Chattanooga-Hamilton County NAACP will commemorate Constitution Day 2013 on Tuesday and will detail and discuss Constitutional Amendments and laws pertaining to voting rights and are aimed at “Ensuring the Essential Right to Vote.”  

The NAACP will also unveil a voter's initiative that seeks to protect this basic right of democratic citizenship throughout the region, officials said.  They will also provide information that will detail recent initiatives that have occurred with national and state  NAACP representation, as well as provide a backdrop for the upcoming Ruby Hurley Image Awards.
