Georgia LaFayette Women’s Club Has Anniversary Celebration Saturday

The Georgia LaFayette Woman's Club's 75th Anniversary Celebration will be held Saturday from 2-5 p.m. at One-Eleven on the Square.  

The event will include reminiscing of the earlier years and celebrating the club's work in the community.

Lonna Hightower has been working to update the history and archives. The scrapbooks and archives will be available for guests to enjoy. The special edition reprint of the 1926 Walker County Cookbook will also be available for purchase.

There will be a special program at 3 p.m. and a proclamation from the city.

The current club members are asked to arrive by 1:30 p.m.  The Celebration Committee is asked to arrive at 11:30 a.m.
