Whitwell Author Releases New Western Christian Novel

This week marks the nationwide release of “Ethan Brick,” an inspiring new Christian novel set in the Civil War era by Whitwell author Thomas Gibson.

The story introduces readers to the titular character Ethan Brick, who is coming from a Civil War battle in Mississippi from a special unit of the 5th Texas Mounted Rifles as a cavalry soldier, is badly wounded, and is sent home to die. He then begins a journey to discovery from the oblivion of a field surgeon’s knife to find love, faith and Jesus that he once called Nobody. Adventure and a bright future calls out if only he can stay alive and keep moving toward his final destination.
