Free Health Events Offered This Weekend

The Chattanooga-Hamilton County Health Department will offer two free events this weekend:

Friday, from 9:30-11 a.m. – Falls Prevention Awareness: Home Safety event at Lowe’s on Highway 153.

Saturday, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. – National Recovery Month event at Hamilton Place Mall. Vendors, T-shirts, community resource guide; Kids On the Block perform at noon. This long-standing observance spreads the message that prevention works, treatment is effective, and people recover from mental and/or substance use disorders.
