Jim Bethune Should Be Commended

Tuesday, September 17, 2013

As I read the article on Mr. Sewell and his nephew continuing to push a futile subject , I think of the two prior years of Jim Bethune being on the council. Mr Bethune conducted himself as a total professional and consistently worked for the citizens of the city and not a personal agenda.

Mr. Bethune was on the so-called “short end of the stick” for the past two years and did not attempt to pursue a personal agenda - just city business.

I think if Mr. Sewell would focus more on attacking pressing city business and not another councilman the city would progress in a positive direction.
