Signal Mountain Lions To Celebrate 55th Anniversary

The Signal Mountain Lions Club will celebrate its 55th anniversary of service to the Signal Mountain Community, District 12-O and Lions International with a special dinner featuring PDG Ralph Brewer as speaker and a wonderful meal by the Big Table on Oct. 8 at Signal Crest United Methodist Church, 939 Ridgeway Ave. on Signal Mountain. 

Light hors d'oeuvres will be served from 6-6:30 p.m. followed by a dinner from 6:30-7 p.m. The meeting will start at 7 p.m. with the keynote address from Ralph Brewer.

Standifer Gap Road Bridge Closure To Begin Monday

Chattanooga Department of Transportation (CDOT) announced the closing of the bridge over Friar’s Branch on Standifer Gap Road between Hickory Valley Road and Shallowford Road, beginning Monday.
