Hixson First Baptist Celebrates 90th Anniversary This Sunday

The 90th anniversary of Hixson First Baptist Church, 5800 Grubb Road, will be celebrated this Sunday, with a service beginning at 10:45 a.m., followed by lunch by reservation. Wednesday worship begins with a light meal at 5, family worship at 6:05 and prayer and Bible study for adults at 6:30 with programs for youth, children and preschool.
 
A free trip for adults to the VW Plant  will be this Tuesday, leaving the church at 9 a.m.

East Ridge Council Rejects Bids For Road Work For Bass Pro Shop Development; All Are Above $3 Million
