Riverbend Is Among The Best Of The Best

Thursday, September 19, 2013

Congratulations to Chip Baker and the outstanding staff of the Riverbend Festival for recently winning 13 trophies at the national convention of Festivals.

Competing against the best known festivals in the world, the Tournament of Roses, the Kentucky Derby, The Indy 500 and The Macy's Day Parade, just to name a few, our Chattanooga Riverbend Festival not only represented our community well but came home with prizes.

It makes me proud to know that when judged by their peers that the staff at Riverbend is recognized as being among the best of the best of our country. Thank you to Chip and to the rest of the staff for being such great ambassadors for our city. Your awards are well deserved. Looking forward to Riverbend 2014.
