All Charges Dropped Against Julian Smith In Murder Of Rapper Robert "Brikk" Brown

All charges have been dropped against one of the men charged in the 2009 murder of rapper Robert "Brikk" Brown.

Smith appeared in the courtroom of Criminal Court Judge Rebecca Stern on Friday morning.

He had been charged with first-degree murder, felony murder, attempted first-degree murder, two counts of especially aggravated murder and two counts of aggravated assault.

Josquin Jackson, the agent for Brown's Chattanooga-based group "Piney Woods" who had just landed it a major contract, was also shot during the incident on Webb Oaks Court.

Alonzo "Butch" Grace pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and got a 15-year sentence. Dexter Talley got four years for robbery. They went to trial and there was a hung jury.
