Barge Waggoner Sumner and Cannon Inc. announced the opening of its new office in Macon with long-time project engineer Stan Price, PE, as office manager. The newly-established location at 1000 Terminal Drive will be a production project office with design capabilities, to expand Barge Waggoner’s geographic footprint through multi-disciplined service offerings, including aviation, in Georgia.
“As a company with 25 years of continuous airside design services, Barge Waggoner is proud of its project experience in Georgia and is committed to our aviation clients in the state,” said Barry Mott, vice president, Aviation Business Unit. “Our Macon presence gives us opportunity to provide client-centered services in the central Georgia region and throughout the state.”
Mr. Price, project engineer and engineer-of-record for the Middle Georgia Regional Airport, has served all of Barge Waggoner’s Georgia general aviation clients including Middle Georgia Regional, Downtown Macon, Georgia Regional Airport and Cochran Airport.
Mr. Price has 22 years of experience with project coordination and design for site design, airport, water, wastewater, environmental, and stormwater projects for municipalities, counties, private industry, and the U.S. Department of Defense. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and is a registered Professional Engineer in five states. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). He and his family have already relocated to Macon from Dothan.
