23 Lawyers Apply For 2 Magistrate Posts

Twenty-three attorneys have applied for the two vacancies as magistrate (judicial commissioners).

The applicants to the County Commission include incumbents Larry Ables and Jeffrey Davis.

The magistrates set bonds and sign warrants at the county jail.

They provide coverage on nights and weekends.
