2 Undefeated Teams In CABC Fall Basketball Face Off Thursday

Here is the schedule for Thursday night action in the CABC Fall Basketball League:

6:00 p.m. North Carolina vs. Duke
7:00 p.m. Vandy vs. Chattanooga
8:00 p.m. Old Dominion vs. Michigan State

The games are played at CSAS.

Admission is $2.

Daniel Gilbert, executive director, said, "The 8 p.m. game features our last two undefeated teams and expects to be the game of the night."


Marion County Picked To Take Region 3-2A Title

Marion County, state runners-up the last two seasons, have been picked to win the Region 3-2A high school football championship in Murphy Fair's Tennessee High School Football magazine. Dickson's Ben Wolcott shot 64 Tuesday and took the second-round lead in the Chattanooga Choo Choo Invitational at the Council Fire Golf Club. A new $30 million development is planned for the Southside at King Street and South Market. Nick Wilkinson, city deputy director for economic development, said it will include a hotel, condos, offices, retail and possibly a restaurant. It could also include some light industry.
