St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church on Signal Mountain will observe St. Francis’ Day with a Blessing of the Animals service on the front lawn of the church on Sunday, Oct. 6 at 5 p.m. During the last “blessing”, over 100 parishioners plus pets attended the event that is held each year at this time. Parish Rector, The Rev. John Dukes and Deacon, The Rev. Robert Hartmans will bless dogs, cats, and all other family pets as their owners came forward during the service.
Regular Sunday services are held at St. Timothy’s 630 Mississippi Ave., Signal Mountain at 8 a.m.in the Chapel, 10:30 a.m. in the Nave.
