A final autopsy says the death of a 21-year-old Lee University student was accidental.
The cause of death of Jonathan Messer, of Cleveland, was acute alcohol intoxication, police said.
The victim was found in a car on the Lee campus in early August.
The car was parked in the Carroll Court Apartment, Lee University Married Student Housing, at 1950 Cherry Street N.E.
The body was transported to Knoxville for an autopsy to determine cause of death.
