Bradley County Sheriff's Office Has National Night Out Against Crime Event On Tuesday

The Bradley County Sheriff's Office and GRAAB (Going Respectfully Against Additive Behaviors) announce the "Gathering of the Watches II" will be held on Tuesday, at North Cleveland Church of God.  

The event kicks off at 7 p.m. for Neighborhood Watch participants and unaffiliated citizens from all over Bradley County are invited to this free event. Anyone seeking to make their home and Bradley County a safer and more secure place should plan to attend. Information will be available on how to form a Neighborhood Watch group in your community.

Man Shot And Killed In St. Elmo Monday Morning; Police Interview Person Of Interest

One person was shot and killed in St. Elmo Monday morning. Police said they had interviewed a person of interest in the slaying. Six people, including four children, died in a mobile home fire at Trion, Ga., on Sunday night. The fire broke out on Airport Road in Chattooga County.
