Bubbaland--We will study Wayne’s book on James – faith that is real. To attend the class you must wear either camo or hunter’s orange. This class is specifically targeted toward men, but women may participate. Book cost is $10 and the class will meet in room 165. Contact Joy Rankin at 423 899-9186 ext. 45 to pre-register.
Divorce Care--"Divorce Care" is a series of support groups and seminars conducted by people who understand what you are experiencing. More importantly, you’ll learn how to deal with the pain of your past and look forward to rebuilding your life. This class will utilize videos, as well as group discussion Cost of book: $15.00. Meets in room 166 and is led by Vicki Jackson.
Jesus Among Other Gods by Ravi Zacharias – In each chapter Zacharias considers a unique claim that Jesus made and contrasts the truth of Jesus to the founders of Buddhism, Hinduism, and Islam. This study is led by Nikki Bautista and meets in room 161. Book cost – $8.00
Message of Grace – This class reflects the Grace Message and includes word studies from the original languages and class discussion. Join us for an expository study of God’s Word as the Grace Message is unfolded. This class is led by Bruce Daugherty and meets in room 155. This study will begin Wednesday, Sept. 18.
Children’s Activities will be KidsOnAMission -- an outlet for kid service and worship through missions and music. This is not just another program but is a part of the process we use to move your child from newcomer to Disciple. Is your child getting what he/she needs to become a disciple?
Students include Wildlife (Grades 7-8) – This class consists of teaching on current issues, co-ed small groups, games, and team competitions. This class is led by Jake Mueller and meets in room 127.; and Catalyst (Grades 9-12) – a time of encouragement, prayer, scripture focus, and worship. The format is flexible so we can meet students where they are and offer varied opportunities to interact and encourage one other. This class is led by Lee West and meets in room 140.
