An exciting weekend of music is on tap for Chattanooga, as Here Come The Mummies appears at Track 29 tonight, following the Power Players Band. Both bands bring the funk and will have a capacity crowd at Track 29 dancing the night away. A few tickets remain and this show is rated “must see” by anyone that has seen the Mummies before. For tickets, go to http://track29.co/event/here-come-mummies.
The Riverfront Nights Free Concert Series continues on Saturday, September 7th with Seven Handle Circus.
Opening for them is 27 South. The free concert is on the Chattanooga waterfront, next to the pier.
Formed in 2010, Seven Handle Circus is a six-piece Georgia band that has been critically acclaimed with the "drive and energy of a rock band." During their legendary live performances they push the limits of human endurance to send each crowd into a dancing and partying frenzy. Elements of rock, punk and alternative infuse their shows and they have even rocked crowds everywhere from bluegrass festivals to sharing stages with rappers T-Pain & Yung Joc.
If there's anyone left out there who thinks "southern rock" died out when Charlie Daniels quit performing "Long Haired Country Boy", come on down and visit. 27 South will change your mind.
All shows are child and pet friendly. Beer sales begin at 6:30 PM. Local opening bands start at 7PM and headliners hit their first notes at 8 PM sharp, playing until 10-ish.
Healthy lifestyles, sustainable development/business practices, and an intense love of outdoor recreation have made up the "three-legged stool" that's made our town the envy of the Southeastern U.S.
No other venue provides the now legendary vibe of this unique musical series that aims to please all people, all the time.
