Ruth Ann Thomas, 61, died on September 1, 2013.
She was of the Baptist faith, and enjoyed spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Ruth Linder; sister, Doris Ann Linder; brother, Charles Linder; grandparents, James and Teddy Garth.
She is survived by her children, Perry III, Deanner and RogerThomas; father, Henry L. Linder; grandchildren, Kendale (Gideon) Thomas, Perry Thomas IV, Cortez Thomas; brother, Robert (Meshell) Linder; great-grandchildren, Joshua, Landon, Channing, and Perry, nieces and nephews, Shanika (Willie), Jada, Lattera, Sophia, and Robert Linder Jr.; aunts, Annie (Noah) Oliver, Sally Oliver, and Cornelia Davis; special friends, Tracey Freeman and Jeffery Johnson, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, Sept. 9, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
The body will lie in state after noon on Sunday, Sept. 8, at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.
