Mary Jane Hall, 80, peacefully died on the evening of September 6, 2013.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Maurice and Virginia Louise Bull and daughter, Amy Lynn Hall.

She is survived by her son, Bill Hall (Cheryl), Chattanooga; daughters, Jan Cox (Don), Panama City Beach, FL, and Jill Acosta (Joe), Meridian, MS; brother, Bunky Bull, Sea Island, GA; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

The family wants to thank Dr. Terry Melvin and Hospice of Chattanooga, the Staff at Alexian Grove and for the loving care from Earline, Linda, Tonia, Jamie and Wanda.

Janie was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church and was passionate about cooking and entertaining family and friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, Sept. 13, at 2 p.m. at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Reverend Adam Mabry officiating.  

The family will receive friends on Friday, from 12:30-2 p.m. at the funeral  home.  

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Chattanooga, 4411 Oakwood Drive, Chattanooga, TN 37416 or to St. Luke United Methodist Church, 3210 Social Circle, Chattanooga, TN 37415.
