Chattanooga Scale Modelers Association Holds Annual Show

The Chattanooga Scale Modelers Association hosted their fourth annual scale model convention and regional show at the Convention Center on Saturday. 

Visitors saw museum quality scale models grouped in categories such as aircraft, armor, autos, dioramas, figures, science fiction and ships. A miscellaneous category included most everything else. 

Specialist vendors sold various related kits, tools, books, supplies and accessories. In addition Grex Airbrush provided regular demonstrations. 

The event each year includes 300 to 400 models and over a hundred vendor booths.

2nd Annual Run To Feed 5k Set For May 16

Ganns/Falling Water School Way Over Budget

The final figure for the new Ganns/Falling Water School is way over budget, county officials said Wednesday. However, the County Commission voted to proceed on the $29,414,000 project. Hutcherson Says Erlanger Board To Be More Transparent; Dinner Meetings To Be Open

Erlanger Board Finance Chairman Donnie Hutcherson said the board plans to be more transparent. He said Erlanger's legal staff will review topics that might be covered in a closed meeting.
