UTC's Wes Long to Speak at Quarterback Club

Chattanooga men's basketball assistant coach Wes Long is the scheduled speaker for today's Chattanooga Quarterback Club a Finley Stadium.

The lunch begins at noon and the cost is $10 and is open to the public.

UTC is 10-8 overall, in first place in the Southern Conference (4-0) and has won six straight games.

Now in his first year with the UTC basketball program, coach Long is a 2004 graduate of Clemson University.

Before coming to UTC, he was the head coach at Queens Univ. in Charlotte, N.C. with a five-year record of 75-66. He led the school to Conference Carolinas titles in 2011 and 2012 and was coach of the year in 2011.

Apartment Fire Leaves 2 Homeless Friday Evening
